"They like to reveal
Stay inside of the lines
That something's better
On another side"
What am i saying?
Throughout our schooling, there is it continually pounded into our little heads that the grass is greener opposed to this.
That our future holds success and happiness.
Make sure we be on-time, get a's and b's, and do what we're told - life is going to be just peachy.
We're conditioned to live our life working for the destiny - the next that by definition, is known as a fantasy.
They insinuate the idea that a single day arrives when a manager will hire us according to test scores and grades.
For example,"you should do well with higher education achievement."
5 major problems with this concept:
1. For a kid, that's just not really much on the motivator.
2. It is fact, most employers are indifferent to grades. They stick to good judgment and hire the old-fashioned way - depending on performance, character, and judgement.
3. Public schooling is usually a grossly ineffective institution for instructing you on how to earn more.
This really is made obvious when the poverty rate has ended 15% using of the most "educated" countries around the world.
4. Why would financial success be something for individuals to target from the start?
Now don't get me wrong - I really believe financial security is really important. But there's a giant difference.
This "you should want to do well in college to succeed" idea divides and classifies people. By publicly labeling the "losers" with bad grades, they become defined as "lower-class" material, which forces students to mindlessly completely overcome the other person becoming a "winner."
Additionally, the worst part is, just one true outcome with the "winners" is because they get to consider. More. STUFF.
Stuff they cannot need, stuff they are will impress regarding around them how they judge and dislike in the first place. Stuffs that is, like several possessions... Temporary.
And let's not ignore the evidence that abusing drugs, alcoholism, teenage suicide, divorce, as well as other despairs are statistically more reguarily the outcome belonging to the rich, not poor people.
We're conditioned to be consumers, with the expectation to fill the voids inside ourselves by ordering stuff. This doesn't work, because nothing in the vicinity of us is ever going to get us that which we want.
Lastly, the end major flaw of this "you want to do well in college to succeed" mindset is the factthat the future doesn't exist yet, and there's a no guarantee so it ever will.
The actual moment that you're most likely guaranteed is appropriate NOW. And it's gone. And here you go again. Now it's gone.

"I just observed there isn't a such thing being the real life
Just a lie you have got to rise above"
WHAT DOES THAT MEAN?
So what is the "real world?"
We have been fed the thought that the "real world" is niagra big, scary place that him and i really need to spend at least 12 a lot of our short lives getting ready for.
The "real world" does exist. Reliable "no such thing" when the "real world" them to result in confidence.
(See whatever i just did there?)
So what exactly is it, really?
The "real world" is considered the society we live in, using an endless magnitude of debt plus a never-ending dependence on "human servants."
The "real world" is one challenge the require one to trust in so you are planning to quit your very own dreams in order to play your role in ensuring today's society remains functional.
Someone's gotta flip burgers. And someone's gotta bag your groceries, right?
WRONG!
Nevertheless won't get into that now.
Yet to get perspective,
The U.S. Department on the job statistics report that the typical job for some is that of a Wal-Mart clerk. Second is a McDonald's burger flipper. Third is (you guessed it!) Jack in the box burger flipper.
The fact is that, the numerous people employed by Wal-Mart in addition to their families is bigger than the citizenry of 29 states individually.
But who are able to honestly state that they ever thought about being a burger flipper the moment they spent my childhood years?
"And each of our parents
They're ageing
I wonder if they've imagined anything better"
What do i mean?
Did your mothers and fathers go through the path of this "real world"?
Or did they get to live their dream, instead?
Will they be currently your "greener grass" their teachers always outlined?
If you do not know - properly.
Itrrrs likely, they've lived your life they're okay with - however certainly is not the life that you had envisioned on their own.
You can always find exceptions to the - however believe that when being honest, the overwhelming majority of them would confess that the life didn't create they planned.
Why On the earth would our parents let the same behavior and habits for folks?

"And after i get up on these tables before you'll
You will know what this time was for"
WHAT DOES THAT MEAN?
And some may say it's arrogant, Determine help but feel like John Mayer constitutes a huge pretty good point bring back final line.
When I imagine many of his peers, teachers, and parents seeing him now... It merely makes me wanna *fist pump* and say, "fuck yeah!" another victory for the people!
Although I'm not sure his history, I realize mine...
I dropped due to graduation whenever I turned 16 but got my license. Before that, I'm consistently truant from practice and and large got horrible grades.
Fast-forward to today.
I earn a living doing things i love, and possess every single time and freedom I should have ever will need to travel the planet, and make stupid YouTube videos.
(As a side note, my annual income is much more rrn comparison to the combined total earnings of nearly every one of my remaining school friends).
Many more importantly, Apple deep, connected, and fulfilling relationship with my significant other (who I've been with for 8 and a half years), and employ a rich and rewarding family and dating.
It is not, by any stretch, the "real world" i was so often made to believe in.
I ought to be residing in a ditch with a diaper in my head pounding some booze reported by things i was told!
But that's not the was lost. I went within the "real world" to live my dream.
That maybe what "all of this time" ideal for. It's meant for creating awesomeness, and discovering and living your full potential. That maybe what I'm sure John Mayer was dealing with.
So, in conclusion, rise above this "real world" they converse about, and live big. Nothing is with your future which can be any better than you're able of creating at this moment.
